Starline '84 — title sequence.

The opening titles of a fictional 1984 sci-fi TV series, as if taped off the air: one star on the horizon splits into the horizon line, the line peels into a neon perspective grid, a vector ship flies to the vanishing point and jumps to hyperspace, and the streaks slam into a chrome title on the big chord. The ship comes back and flies into the vanishing point on the last hit, where it becomes the star again. Credits in a futuristic italic, VHS tracking tears, chromatic fringe, scanlines, bloom and grain, over a 116 bpm synthwave score written in code.

The opening titles of a fictional 1984 sci-fi TV show, "taped off the air". One star on the horizon becomes the horizon line, then a neon grid, then a vector ship's hyperspace jump, and finally a chrome title on the big chord. The ship returns and turns back into the star. The 116 bpm synthwave score is written in code too.
