Opening titles for a fictional psychological thriller. Every object is a clock part drawn in code: an enamel dial in macro, a brass escapement wheel, an iron key on oxblood, a keyhole the camera pushes through, typewriter keys. Credits are scratched into the emulsion and boil on twos, with single-frame flashes on every metallic hit. The score is a clock: tick-tock on the beat, an industrial pulse, detuned drones. On the title impact the clock stops, the dial pulls back into the Q of THE QUIET HOUR, its second hand becomes the Q's tail, and the letters burn into the film.
A 22-second main-title sequence for a fictional thriller, "The Quiet Hour". Macro shots of drawn clock parts and scratched credits cut on a 90 BPM industrial clock pulse. On the title impact the clock stops, the dial becomes the Q, and the title burns into the film. The picture and the score are both written in code.
