A pop-up book falls open and a paper city unfolds from the page in real 3D. Towers hinge up, a vermilion bascule bridge swings over a sliding paper river, and trees pop on a glockenspiel run. At dusk the sun folds down behind the book, and every building lights up from inside like a paper lantern. A page turn then flattens the city and folds up the fictional travel brand Paperway. Every fold is one affine shear driven by a damped spring, with the book's own spread angle as its limit. It is lit with soft shadow maps, so light falls through the cut-out windows.
