Drops of indigo, vermilion and ochre ink land on the notes of an 80 BPM piano score, bloom, and fold into each other in a real 2D stable-fluids simulation pre-computed in the browser. A hidden distance-field guide then gathers every drop of ink into the word FLOW, tears it apart into curls, and spirals it all back into the single drop the piece began with. Shaded with Beer-Lambert pigment mixing on paper, with surface ripples, grain and a grade.
Ink in water, written in code: drops of indigo, vermilion and ochre land on piano notes, bloom and marble into each other in a real fluid simulation, are pulled by a hidden force into the word FLOW, torn apart, and spiralled back into one drop. Every frame and every note is code.
