Tencha
Tencha is a matcha room in Kyoto, and it is a whole site rather than one screen: seven blocks on a 1440 board, a hand-written spring engine on a single ticker, and three live scenes. The caddy and the raku bowl in the hero are lathed from profiles rather than photographed or loaded, lit by a baked studio and fitted to a fixed rectangle, so they lean toward the cursor, name themselves in a card, and turn when you grab them. Below, a granite tea mill whose radial grooves are the dial, a bamboo chasen standing among tencha flakes on a real rigid-body field, and a printer that feeds an order slip out in forty-six jerks. Built in HTML and Three.js, one file, no build step.
