Floodlight is an event page for a cup final, and its hero is the walk-out: you open standing in the players' tunnel, strip lights overhead and the pitch blazing at the far end, and scrolling walks you through the mouth into a floodlit stadium where tens of thousands of fans do a Mexican wave under towers, moving heads, lasers and a centre-hung screen counting down to kick-off. Press Kick off and confetti fires from twelve cannons, the crowd jumps to its feet and the flashbulbs go, then the camera orbits the bowl under the running order and the tickets. Every seat, light and sign is built in code over seven hosted textures, with a crowd synthesised live if you turn the sound on. Built in HTML and Three.js, one file, no build step.
